About Us

Growing up, I danced: everything from ballet to contemporary, tap to jazz. I wanted to be a choreographer— for a long time, that might have been the journey. I fell in love with cinematography too, and theatre, the stage, all of it… I was sure I’d land somewhere in the arts. But a journey into architecture and design was meant to be — and it didn’t happen by chance; I don’t believe in that. It happened as a route to this special brand. This deep love for the creative field led to Scape. In many ways, it’s all interlinked.

The other drive I’ve always had is in publishing. I remember, at around five years old, knowing that I wanted to start my own magazine title one day, and knowing that it needed to matter. I also remember about five years ago, someone I admired asked me, ‘Hey, don’t you want to be an editor of like a major magazine brand?’ I answered, ‘I already have a major magazine brand — it’s called Scape.’ I think that sums up my passion for what we do. It’s something I have always believed in, and so watching Scape flourish is a real moment of ‘Yes, we’re doing this!’

Since launching around ten years ago, I’ve looked for collaborators and teammates who share this passion for Scape and our architecture and design community. Innovative, passionate people who come from different backgrounds and offer our community so much. We’re collaborative by choice, and a diverse and dynamic brand by nature. I’m so proud to stand alongside past and present collaborators as we embrace our industry and her many nuances. And, to think our journey is only just beginning, and that there are endless possibilities for this platform, that’s what excites and drives us!
